INJURY MANAGEMENT & RTW SERVICES

The focus for WCMS is Early Intervention.  This is achieved by controlling a claim from outset and driving outcomes by guiding & supporting all parties in the injury management process.  We recognises that the largest burden on Workers Compensation schemes is injured worker lost time from employment. WCMS products and services strive to reduce lost time and achieve the best possible outcome for all parties involved.

  • Management of treatment provider

  • Providing mentoring and technical support for both in-house Return to Work Coordinators and staff

  • ‘One Off” early intervention services to ensure that best possible outcomes are achieved

    • Return to Work Assessments

    • Treating Doctor Case Conferencing

    • Development and upgrading of Return to Work Plans

    • Access to specialised medical services via the WCMS Sports Physician Network

    • Task Analysis and Job Dictionary construction

    • Gym based exercise programs

  • Managing return to work activities of all injured workers who are classified as ‘totally unfit’ thus allowing in-house Return to Work Coordinators to focus on the management of ‘On site’ injured workers

  • Providing fully outsourced onsite return to Work Coordinators
